What Treatments are in the IV?
We have several tools at our disposal that can be added to the IV fluid to help treat you symptoms:
Normal Saline - IVs are a fast-acting way to deliver fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and medications directly into the bloodstream.
Ketorolac - this medication is a NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug), which treats pain and fever. Similar to Ibuprofen.
Acetaminophen - this medication treats pain and fever. Commonly known as Tylenol.
Famotidine (Pepcid) - helps decrease acid levels in the stomach.
Ondansetron (Zofran) - helps as an anti-nausea medication.
Multi-vitamin - to help give an energy boost, by replenishing vitamins in your body.
HOW do i know what to get?
Don't worry about that! Our experienced Nurse Practitioner will discuss your symptoms, and discuss which treatments will be most beneficial for you.
Then a qualified medical professional will come to the location of your choosing to get you started on the drip.
HOw much does an IV drip cost?
A standard drip will cost $400.
Adding multivitamins will be an additional $50.
As well, if expedited service or out of "regular" service hours, there may be additional fees.
